the event
As the sessional exams were over and the students were
relaxed and it was time for the second workshop.This time it was over the
terminal. Also to encourage our efforts were present Dr.K.S. Yadav (Director
),Dr Janardan Prasad(Dean ),Mr. Yogesh Kumar(HoD EI).
Firstly a presentation was given by Atul Pandey on the applications of open source technologies in embedded systems
that was the microcontroller kit of 32 bit , the demonstration of hardware specification of the microcontroller kit its connectivity with the keyboard , mouse , wifi , ethernet ,VDU and other I/O devices .
Security Enhanced linux one of the Information security project on linux by NSA was also introduced.,
Device drivers , creating, updating, and installinng it over the kit
the introduction to the RTOSS linux for embedded example Android , Blackberry
followed by a motivational
talk by Dr. Rajesh Pathak .

Advantage of using shell over Msdos
included the use of GNU C compiler for creating c programs on linux shell
Students had their own systems so their problems were easily sorted out by the event coordinators.
